My Bento No.1

one of my blog readers sent me a real bento box from japan for my birthday this year. here, my very first bento in a real bento box. bottom tier: sushi rice with furikake seasoning, celery bits and egg flowers. top tier: slices of mango and avocado.

the boxes seem tiny, but they really hold a surprising amount of food. my bento box is enough for a lunch and leftovers for a late-day snack.
